The Senior Manager, Acquisition Marketing, TMS oversees end-to-end strategy and execution of TMS & Prepaid acquisition marketing. The role is responsible for creating, building and delivering insight based marketing campaigns for The Mobile Shop and PC Mobile to drive brand awareness, equity, engagement, and sales support.

This is an exciting opportunity to drive a strategically important and growing business within the Loblaw enterprise, with a national retail footprint in +385 stores across multiple banners.

This role is a unique opportunity to lead marketing programs that combine the power of the Canada's largest loyalty program PC Optimum, the power of the Loblaw retail network, exceptional customer service from our Mobile Shop Mobilists, and partnerships with all the leading mobile carriers and phone manufacturers.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end marketing calendar for telco offerings (TMS and Prepaid)
  • Leads the annual TMS paid media strategy and execution, including leading creative & media briefing & asset management across multiple channels including: in store collateral, email, SMS, website, social, display, SEM, XM, etc.
  • Partner with Product Management, Digital, Social Media, PR, teams to execute campaign and product launch strategies
  • Key marketing partner to carriers and 3rd party suppliers on the day-to-day promotions, projects and initiatives. Build a strong relationship and partnership with the 3rd Party supplier team to understand their needs, gain customer insights, to support as necessary and build into marketing strategies
  • Responsible for reviewing and finalizing marketing material Legal sign off
  • Drive analysis of campaign / project management effectiveness and optimization
  • Responsible for budget oversight for all marketing activities for TMS and PC Mobile
  • Support ongoing and custom research projects for TMS incl IMI reporting/brand awareness
  • QBR/MBR deck support
  • Coaching and leadership of direct report


What You' Bring
  • Bachelor's Business Degree is preferred
  • 7-10 years in a related marketing and leadership role; experience in Telecommunications is a specific asset
  • Superior communication skills - a persuasive and articulate speaker, writer, and presenter
  • High-energy, results-driven enthusiasm with the resilience and persistence to drive sustainable business success
  • Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment with the skills to complete projects within aggressive timelines and budget to deliver KPIs
  • Ability to identify, diagnose and quickly remedy Telecom industry needs to drive results
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage expectations
  • Resourceful and capable of working independently to solve programs, and passionate people leader
