Job Title: EEG Tech
Job Specialty: Radiology

Shift: 07:00-15:00
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
License: Must hold a current active sleep tech certification
Certifications: BLS, REEGT, RPSGT, or RST
Must-Have: Proficiency in the 10/20 international system; experience performing EEGs
Job Description:
- Conduct both outpatient and inpatient EEGs using the 10/20 system
- Utilize Natus EEG portable carts with MRI-compatible leads
- Maintain accurate billing for completed procedures
- Participate in call rotation, including a minimum of one weekend per month
- Work efficiently and stay organized while maintaining a positive attitude
- Adhere to a flexible schedule with no block booking
- Wear any colored scrubs as part of the dress code
- Work in a unit with 3 staff members: one lead and one tech on the day shift, and one on-call during the night shift
- Operate in a setting with approximately 220 beds and a growing Neuroscience service line
- Ensure patient care at a 1:1 ratio
- Navigate EMR systems such as MediTech
