Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time - Evening

This is a Full Time Evening (37.5 hrs/wk; 11A - 11P or 3PM - 3AM depending on the needs of the unit) position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens. This position requires shifts every other weekend and some holidays.

Required Criteria
  • 2+ years acute care Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or pending)
  • BCLS from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • PALS and TNCC within 1 year of hire
  • Participation on one of 12 clinical councils after completion of probation
  • Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) within 3 years of hire.
  • Successful completion of Emergency Nursing Academy (mandatory weekly 3-hour class for 20 weeks)
  • Successful completion of Nursing Residency program: monthly meetings for 12 months (for Nurses with less than 1 year of acute care nursing experience)


Salary Range:

$56.73-$61.24/Hourly
