Role and responsabilities :

  • Prepare regular reports and analyses on the operational performance of MRO operations.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure results.
  • Manage employee performance and productivity to meet production, safety, quality, and cost reduction standards.
  • Ensure that the organization and structure of the department meet the sector's needs.
  • Establish and implement standardized practices and procedures related to achieving departmental objectives.
  • Evaluate employees biannually, ensuring completion of required documentation.
  • Maintain records of employees (disciplinary records, evaluation files, etc.).
  • Conduct probationary evaluations within the prescribed timeframe and provide necessary follow-ups.
  • Develop an action plan to maximize standardized efficiency in their sector and ensure resource optimization.
  • Ensure the achievement of operational objectives such as on-time delivery, productivity, quality, etc.
  • Conduct daily floor tours to ensure a presence and monitoring.
  • Supervise shift changes.
  • Present reports and results of their sector related to productivity.
  • Maintain an effective, healthy, and safe working environment.
  • Participate in health and safety management and the implementation of 6S.
  • Implement processes and tools fostering a culture of continuous improvement in their sector.
  • Handle the prevention of health and safety incidents by actively promoting good practices and appropriate behaviors.
  • Fully participate in human resources management activities for team employees, including performance management, training, work schedules, health, and safety, etc.
  • Supervise, coach, motivate, and maximize the performance of their team assets.
  • Develop the versatility and skills of their personnel.
  • Design and implement talent development and succession planning strategies for their department, in collaboration with human resources.
  • Establish goals, write annual evaluations, and communicate them to employees.
  • Lead organizational changes.
  • Participate in hiring strategies and succession development plans.


requirements :

  • Work safely.
  • Use applicable and up-to-date standards.
  • Spoken Language - Spanish (an asset) ;
  • Use appropriate and calibrated tools (if applicable).
  • Complete and succeed in training related to their position.
  • Update and communicate their skills, work experiences, and professional qualifications to the human resources department.
  • Report any incident, accident, or potential danger via the SGS.
  • Apply and follow policies and procedures related to their position.
