Description:
TheVirginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is seeking an Azure Developer with minimum 3years experience to work with an existing software development team.
Remote Work Schedule -

You will be working with our more established contractorsand staff to focus on several web and Windows applications used both byinternal ELECT staff and constituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Thecandidate will need expertise as a programmer and designer for Cloud Services.Experience implementing and developing applications to interface with ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA) and other offerings from the major Cloud ServiceProviders required. Responsible for analysis, design, and coding for a newapplication. Will be involved in maintenance, enhancement and development work.The candidate will need a range of skills and knowledge of the technologiesused and applications supported by the Application Team. Works with theBusiness Analyst, Application Architect and other Application Development Teammembers on an as-needed basis to ensure that design and code meets customerrequirements. may also need to work with SaaS and Cloud service providers.
Candidate will need to be comfortable working with C#, .NETFramework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services; SQL, Git SCM, andJavascript. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Application security willhelp you stand out in this position.
ELECT uses mobile and responsive design practices, so afamiliarity with these methodologies would be a plus.
