Business Programs Specialist, Emerging Talent & Careers
Our global Emerging Talent and Careers team is responsible for engaging, hiring and developing a diverse base of talent across Expedia Group globally. This includes hiring and developing interns, apprentices, and university graduates across three continents.
We are looking for an Emerging Talent Business Programs Specialist based in Seattle to combine their passion for emerging talent and program development/management to build market leading experiences for our program participants.

Working as part of our global Emerging Talent & Careers Programs team you will contribute to the design, build and implementation of our Intern, Graduate, Apprenticeship, Military and Career Discovery & Exploration Programs. You will partner closely with our global teams in the UK and India. As part of this role, you will:
Who You Are:
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $67,500.00 to $94,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $108,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.

We are looking for an Emerging Talent Business Programs Specialist based in Seattle to combine their passion for emerging talent and program development/management to build market leading experiences for our program participants.
What you'll do:
Working as part of our global Emerging Talent & Careers Programs team you will contribute to the design, build and implementation of our Intern, Graduate, Apprenticeship, Military and Career Discovery & Exploration Programs. You will partner closely with our global teams in the UK and India. As part of this role, you will:
- Deliver an excellent employee experience to Emerging Talent hires in the AMERS region, and Seattle office specifically, considering the program participant and learning journey in everything you do
- Partner with global Programs team members to design, plan and deliver the annual Internship Program, Expedia Group Graduate Program (EGGP) and other programs as required, supporting pre/onboarding, orientation and ongoing program delivery
- Organize and deliver an engaging calendar of events that can include skills sessions, learning workshops, leadership talks, panels, intern project showcases and social events, lead on Seattle delivery along with the Senior Programs Specialist
- Build effective relationships and provide pastoral care to program participants through quarterly 1:1 meetings and adhoc support throughout their program experiences to ensure the best possible experience
- Educate and support hiring managers throughout the program experience, delivering training and becoming a trusted subject matter expert to help answer questions and signpost to relevant teams where needed
- Partner with key business and Global Talent Acquisition stakeholders to understand business context when designing program offerings, stay well connected across the team and work closely with recruiters
- Ensure robust data tracking across all programs, identifying insights and trends and storytelling through data
- Participate in project work and offer support across the team as required eg. campus season readiness workstreams, business demand collection, recruitment and branding events etc.
- Build and demonstrate market insights and knowledge by proactively attending relevant events and staying up to date with the emerging talent/early careers market, using learnings to suggest ideas for innovation and continuous improvement
- Work collaboratively, putting the goals of the team and business first, embodying Expedia Group's Mission, Purpose & Values and champion inclusion and belonging, putting it at the heart of the program experience
Who You Are:
- Experienced in emerging talent/university recruitment processes and have knowledge and understanding of what makes a successful emerging talent program experience
- Demonstrated program management skills and can take the lead on global projects, bringing others together to deliver what's needed.
- You are a proven organizer who can prioritize the day to day to achieve your goal and have excellent attention to detail and written communication skills.
- You have demonstrated experience being adaptable in changing and evolving situations and work environments
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and are excited by chances to define and build something from nothing
- Ability to partner with and influence business stakeholders.
