*Please Note: If you are located in Chicago, you will work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). If you are located in Mountain View, you will be required to be on-site 5 days a week.

What this job involves - We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Technology Applications Director to lead our technology applications team. This role is crucial in managing our account applications, ensuring governance, maintaining the stability of our tech stack, and driving the adoption of new technologies while adhering to stringent security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gain a deep understanding of our account applications and their integration within our overall technology ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement robust governance frameworks for all technology applications across the organization.
  • Lead and manage a team of technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our existing tech stack through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies that align with our strategic goals and enhance our operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and adherence to security protocols.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain stringent security measures across all applications and technologies.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key technology vendors and partners.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all technology applications and processes.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of technology applications and ongoing projects.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives for technology applications to support long-term business goals.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in technology management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex technology applications and systems in a global environment.
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to evaluate their potential impact on business operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of cyber-security principles and experience implementing security measures in technology applications.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-cultural environment.
  • Programming languages Python and SQL are not required but preferred
  • This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to drive our technology applications forward while ensuring stability and security. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can balance innovation with operational excellence.


Estimated total compensation for this position:

165,000.00 - 215,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
