Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) Quality is seeking a Senior Flight Test Quality Systems Specialist to support Northwest Flight Test operations based in Seattle, Washington. BT&E Quality supports BCA, BDS and BGS test programs under the PC700 Production and BACR668L Repair Station certificates. This position will be partnering with first line leaders, other Quality disciplines and peer organizations within the Flight Test Value Stream to evaluate policy/process/regulatory compliance, facilitate root cause identification, help develop and implement corrective actions as well as assist with daily operations requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Quality process SME for various Boeing Maintenance Execution Systems (MES) including CMES, MESci and Velocity
  • Assist with processing Notices of Escapements (NoEs), Corrective Action Requests (CARs), Requests for Action (RFAs) and multi-unit extensions
  • Perform data mining in production systems to aid in investigations
  • Track nonconformance No Flight Delay disposition milestones and develop a method for communicating status to the test team
  • Assist peer Quality Specialists with root cause corrective action (RCCA) activity
  • Help refine the BT&E Northwest Flight Test Quality AD compliance tracking processes


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 5 years of experience performing Quality roles in Boeing Maintenance Execution Systems (MES)
  • 5 years of experience working with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100))
  • 5+ years of experience working with industry standards and regulations such as AS9100, Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Parts 21, 25 and 91, FAA Order 8100.15, and FAA Order 8110.4C
  • Excellent knowledge of the Boeing technical systems, policies and procedures.
  • Strong fluency in Microsoft Office Suite


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Exceptional root cause analysis skills
  • Airframe & Powerplant License
  • 2+ years of Regulatory Compliance experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience working with parts data management and part restrictions (Red Label, Restricted Use, etc.)

Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $107,000 - $144,900
