Position Purpose:
Performs advanced (senior-level) Information Technology (IT) Operations work and supervises the work of others. Responsible for the design, planning, and implementation for IT operations and related technology including, but not limited to: data centers, network, servers, telephony, user support/help desk, storage, and related applications and/or software.

Position Purpose:
Performs advanced (senior-level) Information Technology (IT) Operations work and supervises the work of others. Responsible for the design, planning, and implementation for IT operations and related technology including, but not limited to: data centers, network, servers, telephony, user support/help desk, storage, and related applications and/or software.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Directs, plans, develops, and implements IT Operations and technology policies and procedures and ensures network and systems integrity as maintenance and modification projects to existing applications are undertaken.
- Directs, plans, and implements network and systems security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Plans and ensures the availability, security, consistency and effectiveness of the company network and systems infrastructure.
- Oversees and leads cross-functional meetings that identify risks and issues and creates plans to mitigate and resolve them.
- Oversees and troubleshoots network and systems issues.
- Directs, installs and upgrades network and systems equipment and software.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Certification
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITEL), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent senior level certification, preferred
Experience
- Seven (7) years working in a hybrid (on-prem and cloud) network and IT Operations environment
- Five (5) years in a technology focused company
- Three (3) years management or supervisory
- Three (3) years data center management
- Experience in facilitating technical discussions with a non-technical audience and translates business needs to the IT specialists
- Experience in migrating on-prem services to hybrid services
- Implementing and managing system hardening efforts based upon NIST 800-53 security controls, preferred
