Job Title: Sr Databricks Architect (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of data architectures using PySpark and Databricks Workflows
Oversee the development and deployment of scalable data pipelines
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project team
Ensure seamless integration of various AWS services, including AWS Data Lake
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables
Monitor and optimize the performance of data workflows and pipelines
Implement best practices for data security and compliance using AWS security services
Develop and maintain documentation for data architectures and workflows
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data processing and integration
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data processing efficiency
Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's data architecture remains cutting-edge
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with PySpark and Databricks Workflows
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex data projects
Ability to mentor and guide team members effectively
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until May 4, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $185,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
