As a Community Health Nurse (CHN) you will focus on preventative health strategies to promote the health and wellbeing of our community members. Your role
Reporting to the Nurse in Charge, this position will deliver preventative services in the form of screening, assessment, immunization, education/consultation, and health counseling to individuals and groups. Working as a CHN, you will be part of a team that constantly strives to improve services to the Yukon people.

This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:
Regular exposure to infectious agents, this position requires frequent driving and visiting clients in their homes, occasional lifting and moving of clients and equipment, & Ability to travel within Yukon up to 20%.

- Current Registration with a Canadian registered nursing regulatory authority
- Recent experience in public health nursing or related field with emphasis on breastfeeding education, immunization, health protection, illness prevention, health promotion and community development.
