Director of Business Development / Sales Manager

First Healthcare Management Company owns and operates Adult Medical and Social Day Care centers. We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to lead a department of outside sales reps and business development.

The right candidate will have a strong sales management background. In addition, this candidate will be a self- motivated leader who is proactive in generating leads, increasing our client base, and promoting the facilities to local referral sources.

Position Type:

Full Time (45 hours per week) including flexibility with evenings, some holidays and some weekends may be required.

Responsibilities:

Recruit, hire, and oversee training for all sales staff

Manage, develop, coach, and retain sales staff, empowering them to elevate their levels of responsibility and performance

Work cohesively with sales staff to achieve sales and marketing objectives and meet or exceed census goals

Modeling tight oversight of individual and organizational performance standards

Expectations are 20% inside sales activities and 80% outside marketing to generate leads

Pipeline management: on a daily basis manage hot, warm, and cold leads to ensure sales staff is advancing each lead

Conduct presentations to large groups to attract prospective members and increase community awareness of the facility

Maintain a database of current and potential referral sources with complete and daily updates

Meet or exceed sales activity metrics on a daily basis

HMO and Legislator affiliationspreferred

Requirements

2+ years of experience in personal outside sales and lead generation

Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening ability, good writing skills

Cold-calling experience

Proven success in sales team management

Experience with CRM is a plus (Salesforce preferred) but not necessary

Must have compassion, patience, tact, and a very positive disposition.
