What You'll Get to Do:
- Project Management:
- Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring they stay on schedule and within budget
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards
- Collaboration and Client Relations:
- Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to achieve project goals
- Maintain strong client relationships, representing the organization's commitment to high-quality service
- Problem Solving and Technical Expertise:
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering issues, with a focus on proactive solutions
- Take ownership of project challenges, maintaining a solution-focused approach
- Technical Application:
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Utilize MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software
- Program and interface with PLCs
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a production or manufacturing engineering role
- Preferred experience in foam, plastics, or food/beverage manufacturing
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with proven project management capabilities
- Analytical mindset and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and prioritize effectively
- Client-facing communication skills and a collaborative approach with internal teams
- Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software
- Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Rockwell Automation) is a plus
- Travel: Approximately 30% travel to plant locations (NJ, FL, OH, TX, IL, KS, AZ)
- Travel expenses are covered upfront or reimbursed
- Food and rental car costs are covered, and mileage is reimbursed
