Associate Advisor - Sales & Business Development

Unique, client-focused financial planning/wealth advisory firm delivering complex financial strategies/integrated solutions (tax-advantaged investment/insurance strategies) seeks resilient, self-motivated, sales-oriented Associate Advisor. Responsibilities:
Participate in business development process-farming existing client relationships during reviews to identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell investment/insurance solutions, networking with clients to develop new client relationship prospects
Facilitate financial planning/client analysis including developing/implementing comprehensive financial plans with consideration given to tax planning
Act as liaison with attorneys and tax experts to answer complex client questions
Ensure attention to detail in critical transactions to mitigate errors and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Finance, Business, Economics or related field
7-10+ years in financial planning/related roles; proven success in a results-driven, self-directed sales environment working directly with clients; experience with Orion or eMoney a plus
Relevant certifications/licenses (CFP, CPA, Enrolled Agent, FINRA Series 7 & 63, and/or life/health insurance)
Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, persevere in face of rejection/setbacks, and continuously improve sales techniques; relentless focus on achieving goals; highly organized/disciplined, capable of managing priorities/workload independently; ability to connect with clients and drive them to take action; quick problem-solving skills and creativity to address complex client needs; natural drive to outperform, compete, and excel in a fast-paced environment
The base salary for this role is $125,000-150,000; flexibility driven by factors such as certifications, licenses, experience.
