Description:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Management:
    • Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins.
    • Automate testing, integration, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Containerization:
    • Develop and manage Docker containers to ensure consistency across multiple development and production environments.
    • Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient resource utilization and high availability.
  • Cloud Infrastructure:
    • Design and manage scalable AWS infrastructure to support high-availability applications.
    • Implement and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
    • Ensure robust security practices, including IAM policies, security groups, and encryption.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance:
    • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support new product features and releases.
    • Provide guidance and best practices for infrastructure and deployment processes.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
    • Strong experience with Jenkins and building CI/CD pipelines.
    • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
    • Proficiency in AWS services and infrastructure management.
    • Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
  • Certifications:
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
