Certified Financial Planner | Los Angeles (Hybrid)
Established investment advisory firm ($60B+ AUM) seeks CFP to work with the firm's wealth advisors in designing personalized financial plans for prospective/current clients.
Responsibilities:
Design personalized financial plans for the firm's prospective and current clients (institutional, broker-dealer and high-net-worth), supporting five of the firm's wealth advisors
Interview clients, collect financial info as required, prepare analysis of the data
Collaborate with firm's wealth advisors to present detailed financial plans to prospective/current clients using actively managed equity and fixed-income strategies, educating them on key financial planning concepts
Monitor clients' plans and have follow-up meetings, as needed, to ensure success of their plan
Seek opportunities to grow client relationships though providing added-value financial planning advice
Work with firm's marketing staff and assist them in developing financial planning content to be used for client communication/commentary
Perform important projects resulting from new business development or client service activities as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
CFP required, CPWA preferred
2+ years experience providing financial planning analysis and advice to HNW/UHNW clients
Preferred experience in Estate Planning/Trust/Fiduciary services and/or Tax advisory
Experience with eMoney financial planning software is required; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is expected
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficient presentation abilities
Comfortable engaging with high-net-worth individuals in both physical and virtual settings
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented culture
Proven ability to manage priorities and meet established goals for delivering financial planning services to clients
Strong commitment to ethical standards and integrity in financial planning practices
The target base salary range is $100-140k. The starting salary offer will vary depending on factors such as applicant's education, experience, skills, alignment with market data, etc. Company offers an extensive/competitive benefits package as well.
