We are seeking an exceptional business analytics leader to manage a global team of business analysts who drive analysis and insights to help our teams make meaningful business decisions. The successful candidate will possess a strong passion for analytics, setting high standards, accuracy and staying ahead of a dynamic and fast growing business. You should have excellent business and communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions, and to build data sets that answer those questions. Above all you should be passionate about working with huge data sets and someone who loves to bring datasets together to answer business questions and drive change. You should be adept at leading a global team, partnering with a wide set of stakeholders to unblock the team in solving problems and carry a strategic mindset to anticipate business needs and think big.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include:
Hire, manage, and coach a team of Business Analysts.
Strong leadership, vision and passion to build and drive a Business Analytics team to create changes in business partnerships, analytics, and metrics/reporting.
Drive the design, development and implementation of our Operations analytics to provide stakeholders with structured access to data.
Champion proper adoption of self-service analytic tools and reporting environments.
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards that monitor and to drive key business decisions.

About the team

The Financial Risk Mitigation (FRM) team within Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) org was formed with a North Star vision of ensuring all money entering, moving, and exiting Amazon is to the right entity for legitimate reasons to eliminate financial risk to Amazon and its customers.

Our vision is to safeguard Amazon and its customers by preventing bad actors from profiting through illicit financial transactions and illegitimate gains. We ensure the integrity, accuracy, and legitimacy of all financial transactions within our ecosystem, empowering our selling partners to grow their business without fear of disruption.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a similar discipline with analytical bias

- 6+ years of relevant work experience as a business analyst, financial analyst, or similar position requiring analysis including the use of SQL, Python or similar.

- 4+ years of people management experience, analysts or similar technical positions

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

- Experience with business intelligence and data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a similar discipline with analytical bias

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
