Inspector 1, Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical, mechanical, and visual inspections of raw material components, in-process products, and finished goods following documented methods to ensure product safety and compliance with GMPs and ISO standards.
• Inspect incoming goods to verify quality and accuracy against invoices, orders, and other shipping records.
• Count, weigh, or measure items in incoming shipments for validation purposes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure products meet standards.
• Accurately record inspection results and prepare detailed reports using computer systems.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• No higher degree required; however, relevant experience may substitute formal education.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to use a computer for data entry and report preparation.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable and safety-oriented mindset.

Physical Demand:

The position combines office-based tasks and floor operations. Moderate noise levels, occasional exposure to mechanical equipment, temperature fluctuations, and airborne particles. Physical demands include walking, standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and repetitive motions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
