POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: Human Resources Manager

Must be based in Dublin, OH and able to work onsite. Hybrid flexibility available as needed.

Pay $85k-$95k and must be able to travel up to 30% of the time to shops throughout Central Ohio.

SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Manager will have oversight of multiple Human Resource related functions for a fraction of the businesses and locations under the CollisionRight umbrella. This position will serve to support both corporate and field employees, providing coaching and counseling as well as responding to questions or concerns as they arise. The Human Resources Manager supports objectives aimed at serving the employees of the organization while also supporting strategic business goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Enhances the organization by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
  • Craft and update job requirements and descriptions for all positions. May assist
  • Counsel managers on candidate sourcing, recruiting and selection while also conducting and analyzing employee data related to recruitment and retention.
  • Prepares employees for all duties by establishing and conducting orientation, onboarding, and other training programs.
  • Ensures planning and monitoring of employee work results by training managers to coach employees, scheduling management conferences with employees, hearing and resolving employee grievances, and counseling employees and supervisors.
  • Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends, recommending benefit programs to VP of Human Resources. This role will work closely with the benefits Account Manager to best care for employees enrolled in various programs.
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing federal and state requirements of all applicable states, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
  • Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending policies and procedures that will improve the company.
  • Retains all human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.
  • May manage human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Identifies methods to gain efficiencies in processes with the department, leveraging technology to better serve the employees of the organization.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and assisting the department in achieving objectives.
  • Travels to/from assigned territories as needs arise or exist. Routine and unexpected site visits are required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in addition to 5+ years of experience serving in a professional human resources role
  • 1 year of experience in collision repair industry preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
