Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a talented and dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in data analysis and data engineering to develop actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making. This role will involve designing and optimizing data pipelines and developing reporting solutions. The BI Developer will work closely with stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Job Duties:

• Develop, maintain and optimize BI solutions for one of the beverage industry's leading vertically integrated enterprises while continuously improving performance, functionality, and stability of the architecture and tools within the business.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and document scalable and maintainable reporting solutions.
• Build and manage robust ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
• Set up analytical infrastructure and develop high-performance schemas across the company's digital footprint.
• Leverage Python and SQL for data transformation, automation of reporting processes, and integration of multiple data sources.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and identify areas for improvement to implement practical solutions.
• Ensure high standards of data security, quality, and integrity in all data initiatives.
• Partner with business leaders to define priorities and implement custom data-driven solutions.
• Analyze complex business and technical problems.
• Make sound decisions proactively and in a self-directed manner.
• Provide timely systems support for business activities.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of BI experience developing and implementing data-driven solutions. Experience with Domo platform a plus.
• Strong coding skills: proficiency in one or more C-family programming languages.
• Strong proficiency as a Python developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Experience with data engineering best practices, including ETL pipeline design, data warehousing, and data pipeline architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g. Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse, etc.).
• Sound understanding of multi-threaded application design and development.
• 2+ years experience with ERP systems and financial reporting; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Experience with integrating API frameworks into wider business intelligence solutions.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with data governance, data security, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Passion for technology and software development.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize high-impact projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA or BS (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, MIS, or similar discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Experience working in consumer goods, manufacturing, or beverage industry analytics.
