JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst performs analysis to support and measure financial results. This individual consolidates and analyzes quarterly forecasts and financial plans, examines monthly financial results, and establishes and measures key financial targets. Additionally, they conduct competitive analyses, research industry trends, and develop recommendations for Executive Management.

  • Monitor costs and performance of business and operating units compared to Plan & Forecast.
  • Process and execute Annual Plan and Outlook Planning.
  • Collaborate and report during monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Prepare reports and calculations for Executive Management and Controller as necessary.
  • Perform profitability calculations.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely standard and ad hoc reporting of all key financial information.
  • Support purchase requisition process for engineering and program management requirements.
  • Support inventory and WIP analysis for NRE program requirements such as prototypes.
  • Maintain and develop financial reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support accruals, depreciation, other accounting instruments, journal entries, and reconciliations as required.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules as required.
  • Support the FP&A / Controller in financial analysis and ad hoc requests.
  • Work and coordinate across multiple time zones, including our office in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
  • Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Protect the confidentiality of the Company's information and products.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.

Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Senior Accountant or Financial Analyst.
  • Experience with month-end closing and reconciliations.
  • Manufacturing/Engineering experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, ERP, and Syspro preferred, but not required.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Adient Aerospace offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Salary Range Transparency: $85,000- $105,000 annually
