Client Service Associate | Chicago, IL
Chicago RIA seeks highly organized Client Service Associate to enhance the client experience by servicing clients and providing operational/administrative support to Financial Advisors.
Responsibilities:
Provide operational/organizational support; enter client data; create/distribute reports; prepare materials for client meetings using client management systems
Process monetary transactions; prepare client forms using custodian platforms (Schwab/TD Ameritrade/Raymond James/RBC)
Explain documentation/registration requirements to clients/advisors; prepare transaction documents; collect signatures using e-signature systems
Monitor alerts/action items from custodians; proactively reach out to advisors for time-sensitive resolution
Build relationships with advisors/staff by explaining operational processes/procedures and teaching systems requirements/techniques
Assume ownership of inquiries/transactions/client service issues on behalf of advisor; provide follow-through/updates until completion
Collaborate with internal operations teams to research complex issues/assist with projects
Provide administrative support to management team as needed
Requirements:
Bachelors' degree; FINRA 65 or 66 license must be obtained upon hire if not currently held
3+ years of experience working with a financial advisory firm
Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, DocuSign, Adobe; experience with CRM / custodian systems (Redtail, HubSpot, Orion, Schwab, TDA, Raymond James, etc.)
Superior problem-solving skills; ability to learn/understand/apply new information quickly; ability to communicate complex information clearly/simply; strong prioritization/time-management skills; intuitive thinker with ability to piece together multiple concepts to resolve complex problems; highly refined organizational skills with ability to change priorities based on situation
The target base salary is $80-85k + performance-based bonus (paid Q1 for previous years' performance). This figure can vary depending on factors such as skillset and experience level.
