Position Overview

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and control processes within the organization. This role ensures the company's products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The Quality Manager will lead quality initiatives, perform audits, and work closely with other departments to improve product quality and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control & Assurance: Oversee the development and implementation of quality control systems, procedures, and policies to ensure that products meet established standards.
  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce defects, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of quality control staff, providing training, guidance, and performance reviews.
  • Auditing & Compliance: Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Customer Complaints & Corrective Actions: Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data, produce detailed reports, and present findings to senior management. Recommend actions based on analysis.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and components meet required quality standards.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Ensure all quality-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored in compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with production, engineering, and R&D teams to address quality issues and develop new quality initiatives.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all quality processes comply with local, national, and international regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, FDA, etc.).
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of [X] years in quality management, preferably in [industry such as manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceuticals, etc.].
  • Certifications: ISO 9001 certification or Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or Green Belt) is a plus.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Good communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.

    • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
    • Proficiency with quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills
