Job Description
Purpose of Position:
This position provides imagining services in the department of Radiology in conformance with the departmental standards and service excellence standards while ensuring patient safety. They are responsible for performing all Interventional Radiology Procedures required within the Department of Radiology.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
Assignment Level IV
1. Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH; and
2. Possession of a current advanced-level certification in the appropriate specialty area; and
3. Two (2) years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with lower Assignment Levels, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
Department Preferences
Must be proficient in the use of all of the interventional, CAT SCAN and E-ray radiological equipment used in the department
Tour 2: 8am-4pm

Job Description
Purpose of Position:

- Performs interventional procedures as required conforming to safe radiation practices
- Interacts as a member of the Interventional Radiology staff involved in the time out process
- Participates in training of new staff as required by lead tech
- Works directly in IR procedure room alongside of interventional radiologist
