The IT Systems Administrator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration of systems across hybrid environments, ensuring effective resource management, load balancing, and system health monitoring. This includes managing storage, backup solutions, capacity planning, and security strategies across both on-premise and cloud infrastructures. The role involves prioritizing and resolving system administration tickets, maintaining system optimization, and addressing critical system emergencies. Additionally, the supervisor manages vendor relationships, coordinates multi-system environments for efficiency, and leads business continuity and disaster recovery planning. A key responsibility is supervising and mentoring a team of system administrators, ensuring smooth operations through task coordination, technical guidance, and performance monitoring, while fostering employee development and continuous improvement in processes and workflows.

Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Engineering, or similar technical degree and four (4) years of experience in systems administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification within six (6) months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment.
