Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include all areas of case management and trial preparation, including but not limited to:
Client interface and meetings
Strategic thinking to zealously advocate for all clients
Drafting motions, pleadings, discovery demands and responses, correspondence, etc.
Management and achievement of case deadlines
Sound analyst, collaborator, and implementer of trial strategy to accomplish client goals
Performing legal research and analysis
Preparation for and conducting of depositions
Assisting in trial preparations and proceedings
Handling all aspects of litigation, including contested hearings and trials
Travel for court appearances, depositions, and trials in and out of state
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active and in good standing with the California State Bar Association
5 years of experience in civil litigation
Excellent research, analytical, and negotiation skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary starting at $140,000 plus, depending upon experience
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
Travel expenses are covered, with travel requirements varying based on cases
