Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance and Advisory:
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, including corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary tax filings.
- Provide expert-level tax planning and consulting services to clients, focusing on strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, staying current on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Leadership and Management:
- Mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Act as a resource for resolving complex tax issues and provide technical expertise to the team and clients.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to set strategic goals and drive business development initiatives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
- Participate in client meetings to discuss financial and tax strategies, addressing inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive tax experience, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and complex tax scenarios.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
