NP & PA Opportunity IN PM&R
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with expertise in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or orthopedics to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Our private practice group provides rehabilitation care services to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation program.. As our Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant you will play an essential role in assisting each patient in reaching their goals for function and returning to their highest level of independence..
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, consultations and follow-up visits
Create individualized treatment plans for patients in need of PM&R services
Develop and implement therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation programs
Manage medication and pain management strategies
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and their families
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Provide outstanding care and coordinated rehabilitation effort within skilled nursing facilities under the supervision of a PM&R physician
Qualifications:
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Colorado
Minimum of 1 years of experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation or orthopedics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
