Description:

USI/Asteelflash is actively looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team here in Milpitas, CA. Your primary role will be to Lead the technical management of the industrialization of new products and electronic boards within the company. This role is essential for ensuring the introduction of new products and their successful ramp-up to mass production.

Responsibilities/Requirements:
Monitor NPI build
Manage ECO, MCO codification rules, BOM cleaner, and analyze SILICON EXPERT, REACH, and ROHS compliance.
Oversee ECO management, including BOM analysis, rework quotations, and impact analysis.
Act as the technical driver for QBR for accounts.
Analyze quality defects and implement corrective actions.
Insert routing time for each new project, reflecting RFQ times.
Process and prepare internal and external documentation (Flowchart, WI, APQP....).
Ensure cross-functional coordination by defining inputs and outputs for documentation and technical exchanges (process, test, production, quality).
Define the manufacturing process and work to resolve account issues.
Initiate and lead DFM analysis with the process team and customer.
Lead PFMEA, feasibility studies, and impact analysis.
Define and validate necessary tooling for the project during prototype and serial phases.
Design and implement technical solutions to optimize industrialization processes.
Actively participate in identifying and implementing best practices for the introduction of new products.
Analyze quality defects and implement corrective actions.
Verify materials during SMT setup

Education/Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Experience
7-10 years of experience in the electronics industry or related field.
Experience in an EMS environment is a plus.

This position will be 100% onsite. The expected base salary range for this position, if filled in California, is $130,000-$165,000 annually, dependent on specific skills and work experience. Apply now!
