Travel: 50%-75% (as business needs dictate)

Overview:
Juniper Networks is looking for a results-driven Associate Major Account Manager (AMAM) to join our Federal Systems Integrators (FSI) team. In this strategic role, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, supporting key accounts, and helping expand Juniper's footprint within the Defense Industrial Base. You'll play a key role in achieving revenue goals, shaping long-term account strategies, and collaborating with a dynamic team of Account Managers to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of annual business plans targeting FSIs, with a focus on both short- and long-term opportunities (e.g., network refreshes, infrastructure upgrades)
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across technical, operational, acquisition, and business functions within FSI organizations
  • Prospect into whitespace accounts and drive net-new customer acquisition
  • Serve as a voice of the customer, advocating for FSI mission and technical priorities within Juniper's broader business and product strategy
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue objectives

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally within federal, defense, or high-tech industries
  • Strong understanding of the Federal Systems Integrator ecosystem, including key market drivers, customer missions, and business operations
  • Demonstrated success in selling both hardware and services across networking, software, or compute verticals
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Based in the Washington D.C. Metro Area (DC, MD, VA)
  • Willingness to travel 50%-75% as required by business demands
