Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform a variety of clinical support tasks to assist providers in treating private patients in a very busy Manhattan Pediatric office. The workload involves approximately 150 patients daily. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist providers in treating pediatric patients.
  • Perform phlebotomy and lab tests.
  • Conduct patient triage and provide patient care.
  • Manage electronic medical records using eClinicalWorks.
  • Take and record patient vitals.
Essential Skills
  • Valid LPN License.
  • At least 1 year of pediatric experience.
  • Experience with phlebotomy and lab tests.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and eClinicalWorks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to work under stress.
  • Experience with triage and patient care.
Work Environment

The position involves working in a very busy pediatric office with approximately 150 patients per day. The shifts vary between 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM from Monday to Friday. Additionally, the candidate is required to work rotationally on weekends, including both Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. The role offers 2 weeks of paid time off, medical and dental benefits, a 401K plan, and the opportunity for overtime hours.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
