Responsibilities:
- Identifying test strategy and developing test plans for 4G eNodeB product for end-to-end validation.
- System validation, feature validation, and performance analysis, including customer review sessions for LTE products, with a focus on Air interface, E2E performance, and Call Processing.
- Providing testing strategies for release feature validation.
- Preparing test plans as per requirements, customer needs, and 3GPP specifications.
- Setting up lab test environments and planning equipment needs for end-to-end feature validation.
- Completing test plans in lab environments and mimicking field scenarios.
- Tracking and preparing status reports of testing activities, including test results, test case coverage, defects discovered, and their status, as well as performance baselines.
- Detailing and describing any risks associated with the agreed test strategy and system test plan to Project teams/Business users and Testing teams.
- ssisting in product and feature performance analysis and evaluating new product and software releases.
- Experience in LTE 4G, 5G eNodeB/gNB testing.
- Strong knowledge in 4G air interface, call processing technologies, and network architecture, particularly passionate about Radio Access Network.
- Experience with test tools including protocol analyzers, E500, XCAL/QXDM, Wireshark, Keysight Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators.
- Hands-on experience in LTE Access stratum protocols (MAC, RRC, RLC, and PDCP).
- Previous experience with LTE Mobility, SON, OAM, performance, soak, and validation of critical metrics.
- Excellent understanding of 3GPP standards and 3GPP systems: Core and RAN networks.
- Expertise in crafting test plans for system-level, subsystem-level, and feature-level testing.
- Experience in LTE UE simulators (Amarisoft, etc.) and core network simulators usage.
- Understanding of Software development and testing lifecycle.
- Good knowledge of TCP/UDP, IP protocols, and understanding of the basic OSI model.
- Good understanding of Wireless Operators end-to-end Network.
- Strong knowledge of QA & Test methodology.
- Proficient in Agile processes and experience with debugging tools QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark, etc.
- Good log analysis skills to identify problem scenarios.
- Experience testing in Unix/Linux environments.
