Project Controls Specialist

Job Description:

• These positions are typically on the cost or scheduling side of things. This role will be focused on scheduling.
• Be responsible for creating and updating Primavera (P6) project life cycle schedules.
• Meeting with different employees and various departments to provide/gather updates on activities and projects from the activities that are in the project schedules and gather vendor schedules and incorporate those into the life cycle schedules.
• Work collaboratively with the current scheduling/cost team in addition to other departments.

Qualifications

• Targeting 5-7 years of experience in scheduling.
• Certification of completion for P6 training.
• Strong experience with P6/Primavera and understanding of the critical path method.
• An understanding of engineering/construction lifecycle scheduling within the oil and gas/construction generation renewables space.
• Commensurate experience.
• Resource must possess strong written and verbal communication skills along with a willingness to work cross functionally with other teams.
• Commercial Oil/gas experience.
• Some experience in engineering and is knowledgeable about how construction works.
• Strong knowledge with P6/Primavera.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, etc.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
