Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include:

- Recommandations et justifications sur l'acceptation des dfauts sans rparation.
- Dpose et remplacement des pices endommages.
- L'acceptation des retouches sera base sur une capacit de rsistance quivalente, des niveaux de contrainte quivalents et des conditions environnementales.
- Les solutions techniques sont tablies pour les structures mtalliques et composites.
Dans votre rle, vous:
- Travailler en troite collaboration avec d'autres disciplines d'ingnierie telles que la liaison, le stress des systmes, les matriaux et procds et la propulsion pour atteindre les objectifs commerciaux de l'entreprise.
- Collaborer avec l'quipe d'ingnierie du stress hors site pour rsoudre les problmes techniques cls.
- Soutenir le processus de livraison en fournissant une expertise technique aux quipes de livraison et aux clients externes.
- changer des informations et collaborer avec d'autres sites FAL pour assurer le partage des connaissances techniques.
- Documenter les analyses sur les dossiers de travail en stress.
- Fournir rapidement une justification des rparations sur les non-conformits structurelles afin de restaurer l'intgrit de la conception dans les zones de sous-assemblage, de ligne finale et de vol en amont de la construction de l'avion A220.
- Coordonner les solutions de rparation proposes avec d'autres parties prenantes de l'A220 et prendre en compte les implications des rglementations de navigabilit, des matriaux et procds, des effets arodynamiques et de toute autre fonction pertinente.
- Adhrer aux procdures du (MRB) et d'assurance qualit (QA) de l'A220
- Effectuer des audits internes selon les normes ISO, les rglements de Transports Canada, NADCAP et Six Sigma.
Votre carte d'embarquement :
- Baccalaurat en gnie mcanique ou arospatial avec un minimum de huit (5) annes d'exprience pertinente en analyse des contraintes dans l'industrie arospatiale Bonne connaissance de l'analyse des contraintes des structures mtalliques d'aronefs (une exprience pratique sur les structures de l'A220 est un atout)
- Vous avez une exprience Material Review Board (MRB) ou MAP dans les avions commerciaux/d'affaires et/ou une prcdente dlgation MRB est un atout.
- Vous avez de l'exprience en analyse statique, en fatigue, en tolrance aux dommages et en analyse par lments finis.
- Vous avez une bonne matrise des matriaux composites.
- Vous avez des connaissances en calculs/justifications de contraintes.
- Vous avez une connaissance des matriaux utiliss en aronautique.
- Vous tes capable de travailler de manire autonome et d'tre un bon joueur d'quipe.
- Matrise de l'interprtation des dessins de structure d'avion (une exprience CATIA V5 est un atout)
- Bonne comprhension des rglements de navigabilit applicables (une exprience avec Transports Canada est un atout)
- La connaissance des oprations clients, de l'intgrit/responsabilit des produits et des oprations de maintenance est un atout.
- Personne dynamique, faisant preuve d'initiative, d'un fort sens des responsabilits et d'une orientation client

You will review, make recommendations, and provide final MRB (Material Review Board) stress approvals of reworks and repairs on defects produced during final assembly line, such as:
- Recommendations and justifications on acceptance of defects without repair.
- Removal and replacement of damaged parts.
- Rework acceptance will be based on equivalent strength capability, equivalent account stress levels and environmental conditions.
- The technical solutions are established for metallic and composite structures.
In your role, you will:
- Working closely with other Engineering disciplines such as Liaison, Systems Stress, Materials & Processes, and Propulsion to achieve the company's business objectives
- Engage with Stress engineering team offsite to resolve key technical issues.
- Support the delivery process by providing technical expertise to delivery teams and external customers.
- Exchange information and collaborate with other FAL sites to ensure sharing of technical knowledge.
- Document analyses on stress work files.
- Providing substantiation for repairs on structural non-conformances promptly to restore design integrity in the sub-assembly, final line, and preflight areas of the A220 Aircraft build
- Coordinating proposed repair solutions with other A220 stakeholders and considering the implications of Airworthiness regulations, Materials and Processes, Aerodynamic effects, and any other relevant functions
- Adhering to the A220 Material Review Board (MRB) and Quality Assurance (QA) procedures
- Perform internal audits as per ISO standards, Transport Canada regulations, NADCAP, and Six Sigma
Your Boarding Pass:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a minimum of eight (5) years of relevant experience in stress analysis in the aerospace industry Good knowledge of aircraft metallic structure stress analysis (practical experience on A220 structures is an asset)
- You have Material Review Board (MRB) or MAP experience in commercial / business aircrafts and / or previous MRB delegation is an asset.
- You have experience in static, fatigue, damage tolerance analysis and finite element analysis.
- You have a good command of composite materials.
- You have knowledge of stress calculations / justifications.
- You have knowledge of aeronautical used materials.
- You are able to work autonomously and be a good team player.
- Proficiency in interpreting aircraft structure drawings (CATIA V5 experience is an asset)
- Good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with Transport Canada is an asset)
- Knowledge of Customer Operations, Product Integrity / Liability, and maintenance operations is an asset
- Dynamic person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility, and customer orientation
- Organized, able to manage your time and prioritize tasks effectively, while working toward tight deadlines
