Your Role:

At Tenable, the HR team sets a high bar and works closely with employees across the company to get things done. We operate as a team and are committed to developing well-rounded HR professionals. We share the workload, cross-train across roles, and support one another to ensure everyone succeeds.

The Associate HR Business Partner plays a key role on the team, serving as a friendly and approachable point of contact for employment-related questions. This role partners with the Senior HR Manager to deliver outstanding HR support to employees and leaders.

Your Opportunity:
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and first-line managers within assigned business units for HR-related questions, policy guidance, and basic employee concerns.
  • Coach front-line managers and ensure alignment with HR best practices and policies.
  • Handle low-level employee relations issues in compliance with legal and company standards, escalating more complex matters as appropriate.
  • Support the Senior HR Manager in the execution of people programs such as performance management, engagement surveys, and talent development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and support core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and employment changes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits, performance management, employment letters, and HR systems.
  • Conduct exit interviews and share feedback and trends with HR leadership and line managers.
  • Assist with HR data analysis and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure personnel records and documentation are complete, compliant, and audit-ready.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You'll Need:
  • 3-5 years of experience in an HR support or generalist capacity; experience in a business partnering environment is a plus.
  • Hold, or be working towards, a recognized Human Resources qualification.
  • Be able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment.
  • Able to adapt to frequent change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively across all levels of management and employees.
  • Collaborative team player with strong follow through and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling sensitive situations or confidential information.
  • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employment law.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Workday or similar), Microsoft Office Suite and Google suite.

This is the base pay range for this position. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Employees are also eligible for variable compensation in addition to base pay (commission for sales roles, bonus for non-sales roles), depending on company and individual performance. $79,500-$106,166.67 USD
