Job Description
Manage the construction administration (CA) phase of projects, answer all requests for information (RFI) and submittals, oversee construction work, and meet deadlines. You will work closely with architects and attend project meetings. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit is necessary.
Responsibilities
You will be working in the Chesapeake office in a small, family-oriented environment with 12-15 people. You will collaborate with Revit/CAD technicians, MEP designers, and MEP engineers. The work environment offers a lot of freedom to think creatively and perform your job without micromanagement. You will work on projects located in Hampton Roads, Virginia Beach, Richmond, and the Outer Banks. The office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with a business casual dress code.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.

Job Description

Responsibilities
- Manage the CA phase of projects.
- Answer all RFIs and submittals.
- Oversee construction work and ensure deadlines are met.
- Attend project meetings and collaborate with architects.
- Provide CA for multifamily and K-12 projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and construction standards.
- Coordinate project tasks and manage contracts.
- 3 years of construction administration or assistant project manager (APM) experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Working knowledge of project coordination, contracts management, and project management.
- Knowledgeable in building codes and construction practices.
- Ability to interface and collaborate with clients and architects.
- Understanding and enforcing design elements as they pertain to construction documents and submittals.
- Working knowledge of PME systems design.
