Sales Incentive Compensation Manager

SCOPE OF ROLE:

The Revenue Operations team focuses on optimizing sales efficiency by refining sales processes, standardizing operational workflows and tools, creating/documenting details of all aspects of process, and driving consistency throughout the sales organization. The role of the Compensation Manager is focused on developing and executing sales incentive compensation. This person is required to work collaboratively within the Sales leadership, Sales team members, Finance, and HR organizations as well as interacting with a range of stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment on plan designs and in the calculations and payment process management. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is experience in Xactly and capable of establishing clear rules of engagement and managing exception processes, and addressing commission questions for a wide variety of roles.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Day to day administration of Sales incentive plans
  • Manage sales compensation reporting for incentive payment and attainment to annual operating plans and budget targets
  • Analyze sales structure, territories, and targets to create quotas and sales commission plans that drive business results
  • Own the Xactly commission calculation tool to reflect accurate plan and payment details
  • Own projects, such as the annual Sales incentive planning process, creating annual quotas, presenting plans for executive approvals, communicating plans to Sales leaders and eligible employees, developing special incentives
  • Prepare the monthly commission accrual in compliance with Revenue from Contracts with Customers and work with the Company's auditors as necessary to ensure accruals are accurately reflected in the financial statements
  • Administer the annual quota development process from the initial budget through the determination of individual quotas. Manage the development of quotas during the year for new hires, new roles or as a result of organizational changes
  • Oversee compensation exception process and tracking and execution on decisions
  • Develop new processes and rules of engagement for compensation scenarios and exception processes
  • Manage communications with Sales on all aspects of sales compensation


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree qualified (technical or business-related field preferred) or equivalent sales or sales operations qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Sales Incentive Compensation preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of business or finance experience
  • Experience with Xactly or other commission calculation tools
  • Stakeholder management skills, with exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong process management, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Independent worker, but team player with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail with focus on accuracy and ability to provide fast turnaround when needed
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for a senior management all while being sensitive to confidential data
  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Ability to convey complex scenarios in a simple, succinct manner

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$128,314.37-164,320.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
