A Brief Overview
The Senior Privacy Analyst is responsible for assisting in the development, enhancement, and documentation of ongoing operations of the privacy team, collaborating across organizational boundaries, assisting in development of the privacy controls framework, maintaining awareness of emerging privacy trends, risks, and requirements, developing communications and training, accepting complex assignments, analyzing incidents and problems, and generating effective solutions to sustain compliance with data privacy requirements. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in TriNet's expanding privacy team and to work on challenging privacy issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this role is $77,900.00 to $155,800.00. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.

What you will do
- Participate in developing and improving privacy controls framework and work to cure gaps in privacy controls.
- Identify and evaluate known and suspected privacy and compliance risks.
- Assist in conducting privacy impact assessments and documenting records of processing activities across the company.
- Maintain privacy-related notices, policies, standards, guidelines, and processes.
- Assist in managing company's response to data subject rights requests and consent preferences.
- Identify and evaluate the company's use of protected health information (PHI) and assists with HIPAA compliance.
- Identify and research privacy laws and regulations to evaluate known and potential privacy compliance risks.
- Assist in investigation and resolution of privacy incidents and breaches in compliance with applicable laws.
- Prepare reporting and metrics.
- Communicate with various groups within the company to encourage appropriate data usage.
- Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Experience Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years Experience in privacy or regulatory compliance role required or
- Experience with privacy laws, regulations, frameworks and industry practices required or
- Experience using OneTrust for data mapping, PIAs, and consent management required
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of privacy principles (Intermediate proficiency)
- Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral and written) are required due to the nature of involvement and interaction with colleagues at all levels of the organization (Advanced proficiency)
- Experience with SalesForce and ServiceNow (Basic proficiency)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Intermediate proficiency)
- Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization (Advanced proficiency)
- Proficient in OneTrust privacy modules
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace (Advanced proficiency)
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities (Advanced proficiency)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate proficiency)
