What you'll do:
- Connect & Consult: Respond to inbound inquiries and trial sign-ups. You'll reach out, uncover needs, and build relationships with prospective clients (mostly via Zoom/Google Meet demos).
- Deliver Killer Demos: Conduct tailored product demos that address each prospect's unique pain points. You know it's all about the customer's story - not just a canned pitch. Our trial users already love the tech; you'll make them love the vision of it in their business.
- Own the Cycle: From first call to close, you've got it. Qualify leads, navigate stakeholders (business and technical), tackle objections, and guide deals to the finish line. You'll provide proposals, follow up diligently, and negotiate contracts for win-win outcomes.
- Collaborate & Improve: Work hand-in-hand with Marketing (feedback on lead quality, ideas for campaigns) and Customer Success (smooth onboarding for the clients you sign). Share insights from the field to help us refine messaging and product. We're a team - we win together and learn together.
- Stay Organized & Fast: Track activities and pipeline in HubSpot so nothing falls through the cracks. You're prompt - whether it's replying to a CEO who just started a trial or updating your forecast. Speed and discipline are part of your DNA.
What we're looking for:
- 3+ years success in B2B SaaS sales (bonus if at a startup or in AI/tech). You've owned a quota and have the wins to show for it. Inbound experience highly preferred - you know how to handle leads that come to you (and make them glad they did!).
- Dynamic demo skills: You can command a (virtual) room, tell a compelling story, and adjust on the fly. You excel at translating complex tech into real-world value.
- Consultative approach: You ask great questions and truly listen. You're seen by prospects as a trusted advisor, not a pushy salesperson.
- Drive & autonomy: You take initiative. Give you a pipeline and you run with it - but you also know when to rally team resources to close the deal. You thrive in a startup environment where you can create structure, not just follow it.
- Tech savvy: Comfortable with CRM systems (HubSpot), sales engagement tools, and you embrace using AI tools like ChatGPT to work smarter. (If you're already the type to automate your follow-ups, you'll fit right in!)
- High-energy & positive: You bring enthusiasm to your work that inspires colleagues and clients alike. Rejection rolls off you; you see each "no" as one step closer to the next "yes."
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: 80K
- OTE: $160K-$200K+ (with accelerators for over-performance)
