YOUR ROLE:

The VP, Program Management is a strategic, results-oriented, innovative leader who is responsible for the overall operational direction and innovation for a key healthcare client. In this role, you are responsible for the effective management of your team, projects, the efficient use of resources, consistent delivery of high-quality client deliverables and overall client profitability. You develop and evolve RAPP workflow processes and tools to continually improve efficiency, quality and overall financial health of your account(s). You understand and advocate for both the art and the science of delivery operations.

You partner with senior client stakeholders, establishing strategic and operational imperatives that align to RAPP's core values and ways of working. You strategize with RAPP Client Services & Finance leads to achieve business health through improved tools, process and staffing models.

You are a highly skilled communicator demonstrating leadership qualities, are able to build internal and client relationships while guiding teams to success and work closely with the SVP of NY Operations in overall department supervision and guidance. You are passionate about personalized, data-driven digital marketing - and the intersection of data, technology, content.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent & Team Leadership
  • Serves as a leader within Project Management Discipline
  • Leads cross-discipline teams to deliver a high volume of current projects successfully, sets and manages expectations and quality, pushes for ideal collaboration, manages risk, and provides internal team conflict resolution
  • Assists the department leads in procuring, managing and maximizing talent in the right areas to achieve great work; acutely focused on building and expanding healthcare capabilities within the team and organization
  • Acts as a role model and manages and develops Project Management team members, through skill development and training, ongoing constructive feedback and coaching, and career path guidance
  • Point of escalation internally and with the client for all delivery issues related to the engagement

Resource Management & Staffing
  • Accountable for client team resource management, prioritization and capacity planning - utilizing Workfront and partnering with Resource Management
  • Ensure client project plan templates and role assignments are aligned within Workfront to ensure accurate resource forecasting that fit within client budgets

Client Profitability & Growth
  • Accountable for managing, in partnership with Finance and Account, client P&L, maximizing profitability and overall client satisfaction of large engagements or suite of engagements
  • Ideates, estimates and develops scopes of work, client operating / governance models and staffing plans to best support new business objectives through collaboration with discipline leads
  • Support Account Management in client growth plans by developing efficiency and optimization strategies, organic growth plans, and participating in quarterly and annual planning processes

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 10+ years of project/program management experience; including 3-5 years in leadership capacity
  • Strong expertise with Pharmaceutical Advertising and the necessary regulations and processes - must provide specific examples of working in this space
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent follow-up and follow-through
  • Accountable team player that understands how to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic organization; possesses excellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skills
  • Builds strong teams with an appropriate and diverse mix of styles, perspectives, and experiences and applies those perspectives to achieve common goals.
  • Experience in project management workflow tools such as, or equivalent to Workfront
  • Certifications in Scrum, Agile, PMP or Change Management a plus

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
