Summary

As aSoftware Engineer Team Leadof the Platform Services team,you will lead a team that owns critical components of Bell Canadas software platform. This role encompasses people leadership, technical leadership, project ownership, and hands-on development and support activities.

- Collaborate with technical teams to evolve the DevOps platform technology roadmap and align its capabilities with cutting-edge solutions that automate and simplify the developer experience

- Build and support the execution of detailed plans for scaling existing and new capabilities to support growth driven by DevOps efforts to onboard delivery teams

- Improve and maintain a continuous feedback loop with the developer community on platform performance and necessary enhancements as needs evolve

Critical Qualifications

• 7+ years of server-side development using a major programming language like Java, Ruby, Python, Clojure, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineers in a technical environment, with a strong emphasis on mentoring, development, and team management.
• Familiarity with system and architecture design principles, especially in the context of distributed systems.
• Advanced understanding of business acumen and the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, methodologies (Agile, DevOps), and concepts.
• Proven experience working with a wide variety of software and hardware technologies, including on-premise and cloud-based environments.
