Description:

Temporary position for 6 months.

As the Section Manager, Glass and Salvage you will manage and lead a team of agents to ensure the on-going operations are performed effectively and efficiently in the best interests of our members and clients. Your role involves using your ability to make quality decisions and optimize work processes to manage a portion of a subset of sales and operations activities. You are responsible for overseeing your group's service offer and for developing and implementing its business plan. With an ability to develop talent and drive results, you can effectively manage people and performance, produce reports and ensure member/client satisfaction. More specifically, you will be required to:
  • Lead and manage a team of Glass and Salvage Coordinators, ensuring effective collaboration with Claims Advisors and external vendors
  • Ensure the Salvage team works closely with Claim Advisors to guarantee all documentation for salvage vehicles adheres to regulatory and compliance standards
  • Track and manage accounts receivables monthly, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Approve payments processed by Glass Specialists, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Collaborate with IT and Demand Techno teams to ensure Uniban operates seamlessly with INDM systems
  • Work with ambiguity involving specialized teams

What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience including one year experience in a leadership/LDA role.
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Property & Casualty insurance experience
  • Experience in a management, coaching, mentoring, or leadership role
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation (completed or in progress)
  • Expert proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
