Description:
As a Senior Advisor, Claims, Legal, Litigation and Special Risks you assist with projects, initiatives, and activities related to the property and casualty insurance claims sector. You provide advice and support in the rollout and integration of programs, systems, products, management tools, solutions, etc. You will assume a leadership role with various stakeholders and lead development projects and strategic initiatives that are complex and innovative. These initiatives require extensive and in-depth knowledge in your field of expertise. You make recommendations on the development and implementation of initiatives or projects of high operational and conceptual complexity requiring a global, detailed analysis and understanding of the business and the organization. You are called upon to interact with many stakeholders working in various fields of expertise. Mastering interpersonal relations becomes an essential skill.

You will act as a consultant and subject matter expert in your field of expertise and act as a resource person and coach for decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:
- Advise and support your clients and partners in the positioning, planning, development, implementation and follow-up of various strategic projects and mandates under your responsibility.
- Ensure the development and evolution of policies, standards, models and programs in support of your unit's strategic projects and initiatives.
- Identify and analyze major issues and problems. Establish diagnoses and make recommendations to the relevant decision-making bodies concerned.
- Represent your unit before the decision-making bodies.

What you bring to the table
- Bachelor's degree in business or in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Intermediate project management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of the claims sector
- Intermediate proficiency in data analysis
