Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Job Specialty: Mammography Tech - ARRT (M)

Job Duration: Approximately 10 weeks

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Mammography and screening Mammography

License: Current ARRT registration as a Mammography Technologist (M)

Certifications: BLS, Certified Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M)

Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Job Description:
- Perform mammographic imaging procedures in an acute care setting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Operate mammography equipment and ensure optimal workflow.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and patient care.
- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with other healthcare professionals.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs.
- Assist in orientation and training of new staff, if necessary.
- Chart patient information accurately and maintain documentation as required.
