The Brand Planning & POS Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall success of brand programs in stores, increasing awareness, consideration, and consumption at the point of sale. This manager will be tasked with implementing processes to maximize trade development potential while adhering to brand standards. By utilizing insights from various retailers and programs, the manager will play a crucial role in developing strategies to create engaging and effective displays for consumers and shoppers.

This individual will serve as the primary expert on all point of sale (POS) matters and will oversee internal communications related to POS, including managing systems, calendars, and coordinating with RBNA Trade Marketing and creative agencies when necessary. They will ensure that Red Bull's brand standards are clearly communicated to sales and marketing teams.

Clear processes, organization, and project management are essential for the success of this role. The Brand Planning & POS Manager will apply knowledge gained from developing critical processes to manage the overall marketing operations of the Brand team. This individual will facilitate business continuity, influence strategic processes and brand planning, scale best practices, and ultimately enhance clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness across Brand processes.

Job Description

FULFILLS THE DEVELOPMENT OF PREMIUM BRAND AT RETAIL

Owns brand standards for key visuals associated with Point-of-Sale (POS) execution. Responsible for coordinating with teams across Product Marketing, Beverage Initiatives, Advertising (Event Key Visuals), and regional project leads to ensure compliance during Key Visual development. Liaises with Trade Marketing, which then manages the mechanical development process with the print POS production partner.

Provides quality assurance and tactical recommendations based on global brand standards, country best practices for occasions and consumer activation campaigns, product adjacencies, beverage initiatives, and shopper marketing programs.

Acts as the final checkpoint before printing, ensuring that the final creative upholds brand standards and aligns all Brand POS assets with both global and national guidelines.

Partners with key stakeholders (Senior Directors across Brand and Trade) to complete POS planning, strategy, and ad-hoc development for 360 campaigns, retailtainment, and pop-up store projects for Product & Shopper Marketing. Responsible for feasibility checks and prioritization across marketing objectives and campaigns.

Supports clean-store policy programs by acting as a liaison between Product and Shopper Marketing, collaborating with various teams to increase branded touchpoints.

Leads creative testing for National pillars, Regional 360 campaigns, Always-on Occasions & Big Moments, Consumer Activation programs, Initiatives, and selected Shopper marketing initiatives for POS.

Supports the commercialization of the annual In-Store Messaging calendar by overseeing all print campaigns to ensure timely delivery and execution of all POS suites at both national and regional levels.

Maintains a catalog of approved Brand key visuals for Point of Sale. Organizes the catalog of key visuals within all RBNA systems including QUAD, DISCO, ISM Calendar tool, etc., for both national and regional initiatives.

BRAND PLANNING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT TO DRIVE STRATEGY

Supports air traffic control for processes, platforms, tools, and templates (e.g., annual business planning, long-lead initiatives, alignments).

Drives business continuity by accelerating the adoption of centralized processes within the Brand organization, ensuring alignment.

Leads project management and provides support for cross-functional brand planning initiatives (e.g., Excel creation, PowerPoint creation, system management, deadlines for Brand team projects).

Manages and organizes cross-functional brand projects using system management and internal shared drives to accurately track and own sources of truth (e.g. POS, long-lead initiatives).

Develops and synthesizes timelines for cross-functional Brand projects, including but not limited to long-lead initiatives, Brand Business Planning, and current-year opportunities. Manages day-to-day timeline and project shifts, ensuring stakeholder alignment and informing impacted teams. Maintains all sources of truth for project processes.

Collaborates with the Brand Sell deck team to integrate POS updates into internal communication tools (e.g. monthly Brand call, National Activation Call).

Oversees Brand RBNA Off and On Premise POS catalogs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to brand standards.

Maintains the annual In-Store Messaging calendar and associated platforms, ensures all POS is represented within Brand Net, SharePoint, and Hub space while promoting regular national and field engagement for updates (e.g. monthly Brand deck).

DRIVES INNOVATION AND ENSURES SUSTAINABILITY ACROSS BRAND INITIATIVES

Leads and facilitates the development of successful strategies for ongoing store inspections, providing comprehensive recaps and action plans, and coordinating efforts across Trade/Sales, Shopper Marketing, Beverage Initiatives, and Product Marketing to implement key insights.

Manages monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of cross-functional programs at both national and regional levels. This involves serving as the primary source of information regarding project deliverables, including point-of-sale (POS) suites across off-premise and on-premise areas, tracking current status, program live dates, ordering dates, etc., to ensure proper execution and sustainability measures (production vs. fulfillment vs. volume).

Conducts SWOT analysis for the execution of National Brand POS programs, leading the evaluation of brand trade execution and identifying areas for improvement in our point-of-sale strategies. Perform competitive analysis of trade activations to provide inspiration and dialogue for RBNA consideration. Oversees processes for regional and shopper program insights and store visits.

Supports the continuous evaluation and assessment of the success of the ZONE approach as applied to different environments, including small and large formats, independent settings, and on-premise locations.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in the consumer goods industry, including exposure to retailers, is required.

Strong interpersonal skills that enhance cross-department networking.

Proficient planning, prioritization, and project management skills.

Outstanding communication abilities, including presenting, writing, and collaborating.

The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Strong conceptual thinking and design critiquing skills.

Some technical knowledge of POS production (print, permanent, temporary) is preferred.

Experience in retail, trade, or shopper marketing is preferred.

Creative mindset not afraid to question and improve the "status quo."

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is $85,360 to $128,040 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
