Qualifications
  • Prior public accounting and/or financial analyst experience (3-5 years).
  • Knowledge of loan and lease pricing software such as SuperTrump and TValue a plus
  • Knowledge of lending/leasing and portfolio accounting systems a plus
  • Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple activities under time constraints
  • Inquisitive/Constant Improvement attitude always looking for improved efficiency
  • Team player with effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills needed to work with business people at all levels
  • Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and willing to take initiative. Demonstrated ability to make well-reasoned business decisions. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Proficiency with MS Word; strong Excel skills preferred
  • BBA or MBA degree with accounting or finance major

Position Summary

Wintrust Asset Finance (WAF), an affiliate of Wintrust Financial Corporation, is looking for a candidate for Senior Financial Analyst. This position will be located in Frisco, Texas and will have an active role in analyzing business operations to help drive growth and profitability of three divisions comprising the commercial finance and lease business.

What You'll Do
  • Assist in the month-end close process including variance analysis and analytics, account research/analysis and preparation of reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Board Package including portfolio concentrations, key risk indicators, lease residual analysis, charge-off analysis and variance analysis for senior management.
  • Assist in the calculation of quarterly sales incentive compensation payouts, maintain appropriate quarterly accrual balances, prepare quarterly analysis of key drivers and assist senior management with modifications to the incentive plan to drive desired behavior.
  • Assist with various ad hoc special projects involving business analysis or system enhancements to drive process improvement, productivity metrics or quality of data.
  • Assist Corporate Finance, IT and Credit Reporting to enhance datamart and Salesforce feeds from various portfolio systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of divisional policies and procedures.
  • Assist with OCC, internal audit and compliance audit requests.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $71,000-$100,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
