Location: Hybrid position based in Charlotte, NC, with a requirement to be in the office three days per week.
Job Description:
Providence Anesthesiology Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of IT Operations to lead our company's strategy and daily operations for hosted, cloud-based, and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans for networking, telecommunications, storage, and computing services, ensuring systems are compliant and supported, and maximizing value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, storage, and computing services.
- Oversee daily operations of IT systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of IT operations and make recommendations for improvements.
- Lead and mentor the IT operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT management experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proficiency in cloud storage solutions and infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in IT operations.
- Experience in developing and executing test plans.
- Programming skills in C, C++, and JAVA are preferred.
- Experience providing IT support for medium-sized businesses is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business or technology is required.
