Founded in 2015, Affinity Waste Solutions is a faith based, veteran run, family operated company that has rapidly grown to become a leader in the valet trash market. In the past five years, the Company has grown from serving a few apartments in Orlando to covering all major metropolitan areas in the state of Florida and has recently expanded across the Southeast. AWS provides a comprehensive core set of trash removal services to apartment property management firms and property owners including valet trash, trash outs, bulk removal, and roll off containers.
Position Overview
The Company is seeking a Regional Director, who will lead and manage all aspects of the day-to-day service operations. This position will have oversight over ongoing operations, new property onboarding, geographic expansion within the state, forecasting, quality control, and other functions necessary for the effective function of the assigned region. The Director will report to the GM and be a key strategic partner, thought leader, and ambassador of Affinity's culture.
Responsibilities
Managing the regional team in AL, GA, NC, SC operations team to drive accountability and performance across service quality, customer service, and productivity.
Implementing systems and processes to enhance customer and resident experience.
Optimizing operating productivity to include direct cost per unit served improvement.
Oversight of the region's operations budget
Partnering with the GM and Sales Leadership to develop organic growth strategies
Be available to travel outside the state if needed
Working with HR leadership to ensure the proper workforce is in place for quality service delivery.
Continually assessing the organization (including additional add-ons) to determine the optimal use of resources.
Developing the central operation management team to support growth and scale.
Reducing employee turnover

Cultivate young talent and coach around performance.
Utilize leadership training program to develop a strong structural leadership foundation and pipeline
Teach professionalism and bring advanced business tools and principles into the organization.
Create an environment of merit-based advancement and empowerment within the operations organization.
Develop succession plans to support organizational growth.
Practice servant leadership and strategic leadership
Be an engaged thorough partner to the GM.
Play a significant role in business strategy development and implementation of new properties with sales team and Operations Managers
Performance Attainment & Process Improvement
Hold operators accountable for meeting goals.
Identify areas needing improvement and address proactively
Be a thought leader on new processes and tools to improve performance and customer service
Requirements
Requirements
Minimum of three years of proven experience at a manager or Director level.
A history of successfully building effective cultures and growing similarly sized businesses, and the ability to win the hearts and minds of direct reports and rank-and file employees.
A background in technology enabled service industries with a strong understanding of field services. Multi-family experience is a plus.
