Description of Responsibilities:
The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Software Quality Assurance and Testing: Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing; ability to apply appropriate processes, tools, and techniques for assuring a high level of quality in computer software products and systems.
System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes and applications.

Description of Responsibilities:
- Performs important data analysis and works closely with the business clients to identify core business issues in order to map out possible solutions. The mapping is used to develop the business case for action, defining the need, the method, and the benefits of proposed solutions.
- Undertakes complex analysis to develop the detailed user stories or requirements of the solution in order to satisfy the business need.
- Works very closely with the testing team, using the user stories or requirements document as a critical guide, to ensure that issues are identified and fully resolved prior to roll out.
- Maintain the standards, procedures, and methodologies in the development life cycle for Data Analysis.
- Serves as an influential intermediary between the business clients and the development and other teams in the IT function.
- Plays an advocacy role on medium complex projects for the business clients in all phases of the solution development lifecycle for each of the critical stages, including: initiation, requirement gathering, data mappings, testing and post implementation data validations.
- Delivers required solutions according to overall service levels and schedules on high priority projects.
- Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management.
- Formulating management techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data.
- Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis with attention to all technical aspects.

- Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders etc.
- Collaborate with Onshore and Offshore teams.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of extensive experience as Data Analyst
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with implementation of reinsurance deals
- Understanding of Life and Annuity Business Lifecycle
- Presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas and concepts relating to data analysis/modeling
