Health Analytics and Data Engineering General Manager will lead and manage our Wellness data analytics and engineering teams. They will be responsible for combining both qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions and improve employee and customer experience, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This GM will lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, and data engineers, ensuring the successful execution of analytics projects from start to finish.

Overview & Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a cross-functional analytics team, guiding them to deliver high-quality insights and reports using mixed methods research approaches (both qualitative and quantitative).
- Develop and implement analytics strategies and frameworks to address key business objectives in areas such as employee wellness, predictive analytics (using medical and pharmacy claims), and health plan design.
- Design and oversee the execution of surveys, focus groups, and data modeling to collect and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., customer feedback, performance data, operational metrics, etc.).
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
- Manage the process of data collection, cleaning, and processing to ensure high-quality, reliable datasets for analysis.
- Present findings in a clear and compelling manner, creating visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by exploring new analytics tools, methodologies, and techniques to enhance team capabilities.
- Ensure that all analytics projects are delivered on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
- Oversee the integration of advanced analytics methods, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI, into the broader organizational decision-making processes.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Health Economics, Public Health, or a related discipline).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a managerial role within the airline industry or a related field, with a strong background in mixed methods research (qualitative and quantitative).
- Expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, survey design, and research methodologies.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and software such as R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of the healthcare industry, including but not limited to working with medical and pharmacy claims data. Experience working with medical and pharmacy claims data is plus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of data professionals.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- A passion for innovation and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and the airline industry.
- Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
- Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
